The terms that govern your use of IDMate and purchases made in the App.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IDMate (the "App"), provided by Perfect Pixel (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd ("Perfect Pixel," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms and the IDMate Privacy Policy before using the App or making a purchase.
By downloading, accessing, or using IDMate, or by purchasing digital content through the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 16 years old to use IDMate independently. If local law requires a higher age, that age applies. A parent, legal guardian, or another properly authorised adult may use IDMate to prepare a child's document photo.
IDMate is a document-photo creation tool. It may let you:
IDMate does not provide printed photos, physical delivery, a government service, or an official decision by an issuing authority. No account or login is required for the current version.
Each US$5.99 one-time purchase covers one finished digital photo for the document specification and photo currently selected at checkout. It is a consumable digital-content purchase, not a membership or licence for unlimited future photos.
The purchase includes:
A new source photo, a newly generated result, or another document specification may require a new purchase. IDMate has no membership, subscription, automatic renewal, recurring charge, or free trial.
The price and any local tax or currency conversion displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play before confirmation control if they differ from the reference US-dollar price in these Terms.
The current version has no user account or cloud photo library. The purchased result and its download state are stored locally and do not synchronise between devices.
You may download the same purchased result repeatedly on the same installation while its local record remains available. If you uninstall the App, clear App data, lose or replace the device, or move to another device, the purchase and photo will not be restored. Reinstalling the App does not restore the result. Save the delivered JPG to your device photo library and maintain your own backup.
The App must not present this consumable purchase as a restorable non-consumable product. Any store product configuration must match this section.
Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under the store's payment terms. We do not receive your full payment-card details. An order is complete only after the applicable store confirms a valid purchase.
The production iOS and Android versions must verify purchase status through the applicable store or a properly secured verification service before unlocking delivery. A preview, simulated success event, client-side timer, or local flag alone is not valid purchase verification.
If payment fails, is cancelled, is refunded, or is reversed, we may withhold or disable undelivered content to the extent permitted by law. We will not remove a JPG already saved to your device photo library.
The digital photo may begin processing and become available immediately after payment. Before submitting a purchase, the App presents a separate, unchecked consent control asking you to:
The purchase cannot proceed until you actively select that control. The App records the consent-text version, acceptance time, and the two acknowledgements with the transaction information. This consent does not remove rights that applicable law does not permit you to waive, including remedies for digital content that is defective or not supplied as agreed.
Delivery occurs when the purchased JPG is made available on the delivery screen after a valid store purchase. You are responsible for device access, available storage, and backing up the delivered file.
If a temporary technical problem prevents download on the same installation, you may retry the download without another charge. If the App never makes the purchased result available, contact support@ppixels.com with the platform, approximate purchase time, product identifier, and store transaction information. Do not email a full payment-card number or unnecessary identity documents.
Refund requests are generally administered by Apple App Store or Google Play and remain subject to the store's rules and mandatory consumer law. Unless the checkout screen expressly states otherwise, we do not promise automatic extra compensation merely because an issuing authority rejects a photo. This does not limit a statutory right to a refund, repeat performance, price reduction, cancellation, or another mandatory remedy.
IDMate's checks are automated and preliminary. Requirements vary by country, authority, document type, location, and date. You must review the selected specification and final photo before submission.
We do not guarantee that a passport office, embassy, school, examination body, employer, licensing agency, immigration authority, or other organisation will accept a photo. A "passed," "verified," "compliant," or similar result means only that the App did not detect the listed issue. It is not government approval or a professional guarantee.
You retain all rights in photos and other content you provide. You instruct the App to copy, display, crop, resize, clean the background of, format, and otherwise process the selected photo locally on your device only as needed to provide the requested function. This local instruction does not give us a worldwide content licence and does not cause us to receive or store the photo on our servers.
If you deliberately send a photo as an email attachment, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to access and use that attachment only to investigate and answer the specific request, comply with law, or resolve a related claim. That permission ends when the purpose and the retention period in the Privacy Policy end.
If a photo depicts another person, you confirm that you have the permission and legal authority required to process and use that person's image. For a child's photo, you must be the parent, legal guardian, or another properly authorised adult.
You must not use IDMate to:
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, a material Terms violation, a security risk, or a legal requirement.
The App, including its software, interface, design, text, graphics, branding, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to Perfect Pixel and protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on a supported device for lawful personal purposes. We may suspend or terminate this licence only for a material Terms violation, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the App. Termination does not retrospectively remove ownership of a JPG already delivered to you or limit mandatory consumer rights.
We may update the App for accuracy, security, compatibility, store requirements, or legal compliance. Document specifications may be changed or removed as official requirements change. We may suspend a feature for maintenance, security, prevention of misuse, or legal compliance.
Material changes to these Terms apply prospectively from the stated effective date. We will provide notice and obtain renewed agreement where required. If you reject a change that requires agreement, you may stop future use without affecting rights relating to a completed purchase.
The App may rely on Apple App Store, Google Play, operating-system features, or third-party information. Those services are governed by their own terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDMate is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, detection of every photo issue, or acceptance by an authority. Results may be affected by image quality, lighting, camera characteristics, user selections, and changing official requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, conformity rights, or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by your failure to review official requirements or back up a delivered file. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a specific paid order is limited to reasonably foreseeable direct loss arising from that order.
No limitation applies to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, unlawful personal-data processing, breach of a non-waivable digital-content or consumer right, or another liability that cannot legally be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for direct losses and third-party claims caused by your intentional or materially negligent unlawful use of IDMate, lack of authority for a submitted image, or material violation of these Terms. We will give reasonable notice of a claim and allow reasonable participation in its defence. We will not agree to a settlement that increases your liability without your consent. You are not responsible for our breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or courts available under the law of your habitual residence.
Before filing a claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve it by email for 30 days. This does not prevent urgent relief, a regulatory complaint, a store refund request, or filing needed to preserve a limitation period. A dispute may be brought before any court with lawful jurisdiction, and consumers may use a mandatory local alternative-dispute process where available.
For an iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, or visionOS version obtained through Apple App Store, the following terms apply in addition to the remainder of these Terms:
If this section conflicts with a mandatory Apple store term, the mandatory store term controls to the extent of the conflict.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted or removed without affecting the rest. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the purchase disclosures, and mandatory app-store terms form the agreement concerning the App.
If we publish a translation, it is provided so users can understand these Terms. A language-priority rule does not exclude mandatory rights in the language or jurisdiction of the consumer. Any ambiguity will be interpreted as required by applicable consumer law.
IDMate does not provide a telephone line, live chat, or separate customer-service page. For purchase problems, legal notices, feedback, or questions:
