How Perfect Pixel handles information when you use the IDMate App.
This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Pixel (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd ("Perfect Pixel," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use IDMate (the "App"). IDMate helps users prepare digital passport, visa, identification, residence, driving, study, examination, and work-related photos.

We are the controller of personal data described in this Policy, except where Apple, Google, an email provider, or another third party acts as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
This Policy applies to the current iOS and Android versions of IDMate. It does not apply to third-party stores, payment services, websites, or services that display their own privacy notices.
IDMate does not require an account or sign-in. The current version has no membership, subscription, automatic renewal, free trial, advertising, targeted marketing, or in-app live customer service.
You may take a photo or select one from your device. Camera and photo-library permissions are requested only when you choose the related function. You can revoke those permissions in your device settings.
In the current version, the App processes the selected photo locally on your device for preview, framing, cropping, size adjustment, background cleanup, automated photo checks, formatting, and download. The App does not transmit the selected photo, a thumbnail, facial template, or image metadata to a server operated by us. We do not remotely store the photo and do not use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
IDMate does not identify you, compare your face against another person, or create a biometric template for unique identification. A facial image may still be sensitive because of what is visible in the image.
You retain control of the original and finished photo. A photo reaches us only if you deliberately attach it to an email sent to our contact address.
The App may keep the selected country, document type, photo specification, workflow state, local purchase state, and the finished-photo record on your device. This local data supports the requested workflow and repeated downloads within the same app installation. It is not an online account and does not synchronize between devices.
Each US$5.99 purchase covers the digital photo currently being prepared for the selected document specification. Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
The store or the App's native payment component may handle a transaction identifier, product identifier, purchase status, storefront or country, currency, price, refund status, and fraud-prevention signals. Where immediate digital delivery requires express consent, the purchase flow also creates a consent record containing the consent-text version, acceptance time, and confirmation that immediate delivery and the possible loss of a withdrawal right were acknowledged.
If you email support@ppixels.com, we receive your email address, message, technical details you provide, and attachments you choose to include. Do not send a full payment-card number or unnecessary identity documents.
The current App does not ask for a name, telephone number, account credential, contact list, precise location, advertising identifier, or push-notification token. The reviewed H5 application bundle contains no configured advertising, analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting SDK and no user-content network endpoint. It uses locally bundled interface libraries and device browser features. Apple, Google, and the operating system may independently process technical and store data under their own notices.
We will update this Policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures before adding a new SDK or processing purpose that changes these facts.
We process information only as necessary to:
For users in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the legal bases may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in protecting the App and resolving claims, and consent where the law specifically requires it. An operating-system permission controls access on your device; it is not automatically treated as consent for unrelated personal-data processing.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose only the information necessary to:
The App does not disclose selected photos to those parties. An email attachment is handled only because you chose to send it.
We apply the following periods to information under our control:
Apple, Google, and our email provider apply their own retention periods to information they independently control.
Perfect Pixel is located in China. If you contact us from another country, your email and any attachment you choose to send are transferred to and handled in China. Limited store transaction or legal information made available to us may also be accessed in China. Apple, Google, and our email provider may process information in other locations described in their notices.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR requires a transfer mechanism, we use an applicable legal mechanism, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for the United Kingdom, the UK Addendum or another valid mechanism. We also assess the transfer and use supplementary contractual, access-control, and security measures where appropriate. You may request information about the applicable safeguard by email.
We have not listed an EEA or UK representative in this Policy. Before offering the App in a market where appointment of a representative is legally required, we will appoint one and publish the representative's contact details here.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Local photo processing reduces transmission risk but does not remove all device-security risk. Protect access to your device and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by email.
No system is completely secure. If a security incident requires notice, we will provide it as required by applicable law.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a portable copy, and to complain to a regulator. You may also have a right to appeal our response or use an authorised agent.
Email support@ppixels.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and state the right you wish to exercise. We will request only information reasonably necessary to verify and process the request. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Because there is no user account and photos are processed locally, we may hold little or no personal data that can be linked to you. We cannot retrieve a photo or local record that never left your device.
California residents may note that we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
IDMate is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. A parent, legal guardian, or another properly authorised adult may use the App to prepare a child's document photo. The child should not create an account, make a purchase, or contact us directly.
The App does not knowingly create biometric identifiers or use a child's photo for identification, advertising, profiling, or AI training. If a child sends information to us without appropriate adult authorisation, contact us. We will investigate and delete it promptly, including any emailed photo within 30 days after the matter is resolved unless retention is legally required.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for complying with local rules concerning a child's image and document application.
Apple App Store and Google Play independently handle store accounts, payments, refunds, device information, and fraud controls. Review their privacy notices. A link or system interface to a third party does not mean that we control its practices.
We may update this Policy when the App, law, or our practices change. The current version will be available through the App or store listing, and we will preserve prior published versions where reasonably practicable. We will provide prominent notice before a material new use of personal data and obtain consent where required. The date at the top identifies the current version.
